Top Secret's The Strange Variant Cover

Here's one of the covers I mentioned on my last post, variant cover for The Strange #1 by Dave Acosta on pencils, myself on inks and Ivan Nunes on colors. I really love how this one turned out!

Soleil, Norma, Top Secret Press, DC...

It's been forever since I last updated my blog, I've just been so busy I couldn't find the time to do it. I still am busy but finally have a bit of time to breathe and post something here. What has been keeping me so busy? Well, a bit of everything. I spend most of my time working on a motion comic/animation project that should end in June. It's very cool, I'm drawing and inking on this project and the final product looks great. Unfortunately I cannot share any of it yet.

I have also been working on Transsiberien, an album I'm inking for Soleil Productions and of course Hoy Me Ha Pasado Algo Muy Bestia for Norma Comics, which will be finished soon. This book is seeing my best work so far, I think, I love inking Julian Lopez's pencils and I have the time to really pay attention to detail. I can't wait for this to get published, I think people will love this book.

I have been doing a lot of work for Top Secret Press too. They are an American indie publisher and they're doing things right, they put out great stories and treat us artists with respect. I can't say enough good things about them. I've inked a bunch of covers for them (the best ones I can't share yet so stay tuned, I'll post them soon) and also issue #1 of The Strange, with Francisco Menor on pencils. Fun stuff.

Last but not least, I've done some inks for DC recently, a custom project for Gatorade. Working for the big two is always cool and I hope to do it again soon.

Well, I guess that's it for now, sorry for the wait, I promise I will stay on top of my blog and update it more often.
